I'm not super big on fantasy but this was recommended for it's queerness and it did not disappoint! The world is super rich and the lore very refreshing even though I thought some twists were a little obvious. But overall, I greatly enjoyed it!
Honestly, you don't know what you're missing in fantasy until you read this book. An author who genuinely succeeds in not recreating patriarchy in a fictional world, and then it's a fantastic, gripping story to boot.
