I think this might be what I, Robot would be if it were written today. Very believable picture of the future and how technology could develop and change society. Oh, and a gripping mystery too.

The label for two stars says, "it was okay." That seems an apt description of this book. I really like Cline, and his second book, Armada was one of my favorite books a couple years ago, but I feel like this one is missing a spark of originality, and ends up mostly being a rehash of the same kinds of ideas from the first book.
