Worth a read

I'd seen a load of mixed or negative reviews for this so I went in with quite low expectations.

Honestly I really enjoyed it, especially if read as a product of its time. The story was compelling, and I loved the imagining of the future Earth, and how bored / tired one might get of it.

The actual treck around the Ringworld was less interesting to me than the run up to it. Getting the gang together was the best bit.
